Brian is a 25-year law enforcement veteran and currently a Patrol Sergeant, Field Training Officer and Training Unit member with the Green Bay Police Department. Prior to this he served as a Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer for the Oneida (WI) Tribal Police Department. Brian is a Unified Tactical Instructor in Wisconsin and teaches Professional Communications, Defensive and Arrest Tactics, Handgun, Tac Rifle, Tactical Response, Emergency Vehicle Operations, and Vehicle Contacts. In 2013 he assisted in the redesign of the Green Bay Police Department’s Field Training program and the implementation of their mini academy.
Brian is an adjunct instructor for NWTC and teaches Wisconsin’s Unified Tactics and offers other specialized training to new & current law enforcement officers. He is also a Master Instructor Trainer (MIT) for Defensive and Arrest Tactics, Firearms, Tactical Response and Scenario Instructor which requires him to train and update other Wisconsin law enforcement instructors in those tactical disciplines. Brian has trained in martial arts with Master Kevin Schoenebeck (Green Bay) since 2000 and holds black belt rank in Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu (Japanese Martial Arts) under Shihan Russ Rhodes (San Jose,CA).
